Software Testing Certifications Certification is a big step; a big decision. Certification identifies an individual as a quality assurance leader. Certification earns the candidate the respect of colleagues and managers. One or more of these certifications is frequently a prerequisite for promotion or acquiring a new position.   Since its inception, Software Certifications has certified more
than 38,000 IT professionals worldwide. An increasing number of

had its beginning in 1980 as the Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) which was
